Deadline for Applications:November 5, 2021, 5:00 PM EST
NSNA is hosting a virtual poster presentation from November 8 – 18, 2021 and we want to invite all NSNA Chapters and individual members to share school and state projects virtually. The submissions are open to both in-person and virtual attendees and the posters will actually be located on the conference’s online platform. The virtual platform will be available starting November 8, 2021, as a preview, where you can invite your family and friends to view your poster.
Joint faculty and student submissions are welcome. The topic of the poster should be of interest to faculty and students in attendance and should be adaptable for display on a pin-up board. The purpose of Project Showcase is to foster the sharing of information and education.
In the virtual setting, you will be able to set up your poster with its own QR code that will be available to attendees in the conference program book and through the online platform. This presentation minimizes the risk of Covid-19 exposure and the cost of traveling with the poster. As the presenter, you can set up a zoom session or an online chat during a convenient time to talk about your poster with attendees in both the virtual and onsite venues. We suggest that presenters schedule at least 2 sessions for both in-person attendees and virtual attendees to visit and ask questions about your poster.
For this year's event, please register before submitting your poster registration. You will receive an acceptance letter to the poster presentations starting the first week in October.
How it Works: Develop a virtual poster and a short 2-minute video explaining the poster for display during the online Project Showcase. Selected abstracts (.pdf or .jpg format) will be gathered into an online gallery, including the author's bio. The platform allows a Q&A session which gives you the ability to respond to members about your poster.
