COVID-19 Protocols and Expectations Related to the 40th NSNA MidYear Conference
NSNA is committed to following all current CDC guidelines related to COVID-19 pandemic as well as state, local, and corporate (hotel/convention center) requirements and will continue to be mindful of the safety of attendees, partners, guests, and staff. For the 40th NSNA Conference, the NSNA Board encourages that conference attendees wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, and practice social distancing as comfortable.
Attendees do not have to provide proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test, but the NSNA Board highly recommends that attendees have the latest COVID-19 booster shots. To assist attendees in communicating their comfort for physical touch and space, the NSNA Board encourages attendees and partners to use the colored dot system. The color dots can be picked up at the designated area around registration and placed on your badge. The colors and meanings are as follows:
Also, within in the NSNA conference app, there will be list of nearby COVID-19 testing facilities, but attendees are encouraged to bring home test kits in case they develop COVID-19 symptoms during the event. NSNA will not provide onsite testing. NSNA appreciates all attendees and partners for the adherence to these policies and their efforts to eliminate COVID-19 exposure. The health and safety of attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and the local community is a priority for NSNA based on our core values, policy, and formation of professional identity in nursing.
