National Student Nurses’ Association, Inc. COVID-19 Policy – 39th Midyear Conference
It is a top priority of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) to ensure that the 39th MidYear Conference in Louisville, KY is facilitated with the utmost care and consideration to deliver a healthy and safe environment for all participants and staff. NSNA is staying abreast of all safety guidelines provided on a national and local level in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. All attendees are encouraged to follow the guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on appropriate practices for large indoor gatherings.
Certain precautions have been put into place by NSNA for the MidYear Conference to ensure that a safe, comfortable conference will be attended by all.
Masks are required in all NSNA sponsored events (i.e. exhibit hall, sessions, etc.).
Masks are required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status.
Masks must cover both nose and mouth.
Social distancing will be imposed where necessary.
Temperature screenings may be conducted.
Participants who experience COVID-19 or variant related symptoms are encouraged to NOT attend the conference.
All attending is aware of and in agreement of NSNA’s policies regarding health and safety guidelines and waive NSNA from any liability that may arise from participating in the 39th MidYear Conference.
